Bendakaya Pachadi


3 cups - lady fingers cut in pieces
3 green chillies
1 tbsp - grated ginger
1 tbsp - tamarind juice
½ tbsp - mustardseeds
½ tbsp - cumin seeds
1 tbsp - channa dhal
1 tbsp - split black gram
curry leaves
2 red chillies deseeded and halved
4 garlic flakes crushed
2 tbsps - ghee
salt to taste


Heat 1 tbsp ghee in the pan, add lady finger, green chillies and ginger.
cool and grind adding tamarind juice and salt . Keep aside.
Heat remaining ghee in the pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, channa dhal, 
black gram,l curry leaves,red chillie, and garlic and fry for 3 minutes.
Pour this over the lady finger pachadi
